PRACSYS CODES AND REFERENCE

PracSys provides screens for easy management of required OPCS, ICD, national codes and code groups.

Codes: easy user management of all national codes, including OPCS (procedure), ICD (disease), HRG (Healthcare Resources Groups), and Postcodes.
Code Groups: user-defined groups of codes enable much easier analysis of activity in contract datasets, and easier groupings of procedures for service agreements.
Status: codes can be awarded a user-defined or standard status, so that, for example, you can determine which procedures are carried out under which status. You can use this in a funding context or to set a procedure which is not funded.
Dates: all codes and statuses are dated so that historical data is never lost when postcodes of HA boundaries change, or when coding schemes change.
