SALESYS DETAILS OF ORGANISATIONS

Organisations are those individuals, companies and institutions with whom you trade.
The Organisations List View displays your organisations on a  one-per-line basis, and organisations to be selected by a set of parameters, such as Address Type (e.g. Invoice or delivery address) and Telecomm Address Type (e.g. to display telephone or facsimile numbers). The list can also be sorted by several parameters such as Town/City.

Double-clicking on an Organisation Name displays the Organisation Detail View which is used for the creation and editing of your organisations, and also allows the full examination of all the details which you hold on the selected organisation.
Organisation Roles (e.g. Customer, Supplier) are user-definable and determine the types of transaction in which an organisation may participate. An organisation must have at least one role.
Telecommunications (e.g. phone/fax/email/website/mobile/pager) are all user-defined types and may be associated with a contact and an address type.
Contact details for any number of contacts may be held: each may be linked to transactions and may appear in the business documents (e.g. invoice, order etc.) that can be generated.
Adddresses of user-defined type (e.g. Main, Invoicing, Delivery etc.) may be held: each may be linked to transactions and may appear in the business documents (e.g. invoice, order etc.) that can be generated.
Labels An individual label can be formed for direct printing to an envelope, or for transfer into your word processor or spreadsheet, from the Organisation Detail screen, or even while entering a transaction.
